Taya’s Birthday and Interview in Prodigal Son Magazine

Taya & Jason

It’s our first real day home (after a couple days to sleep and reconnect with our boys) after the first leg of the Downhere Fall tour and I’ve got some catch up to do. In the next day or two, look for two more video blogs from the road that we made but didn’t have a chance to post until now.

It’s Taya’s birthday today! I won’t say which one, because that would just be rude, but let me just say that I’m so blessed to be married to a lovely woman who just gets better with age. We married when we were so young, I was 20, she was 19 (I still can’t believe her parents let me take her!), and there’s a real sense that since we were so young we got to grow up together.

Last night, the boys and I got up in the middle of the night and wrote a list of the top 10 reasons we love mom on the school room wipe board. It grew into the top 22.5 reasons before we got so tired that we had to go back to bed. There are about 6 lightsabers drawn in the lower right hand corner of the wipe board that I had to draw to entertain Gus while Kipper and Jacob made their contributions to the list. There’s also an X-wing fighter and a Star Destroyer.

Speaking of Star Destroyers…. (nor really, I was just looking for segueway). Jeff Goins, a man I met in Nashville last Spring has published an interview he did with me on a site called Prodigal Son Magazine. Here’s a link for you to check out: http://www.prodigalsonmagazine.com/free/2007/10/music_jason_gray.php

Be blessed,

Jason Gray
